Donating in honor of someone is a celebration of their significance to us. This could be in honor of a loved one or to acknowledge the meaningful contributions someone has mad to HFC.
It costs us $70 per day, $500 per week and $2000 per month to house, feed, counsel, and support a person toward self-sufficiency. If the average person stays three months, it will take about $6,000 to get them back on their feet. The Hope For Families Center has established a safe and convenient way to accept on-line donations. Simply click on the “donate” button. Your support is appreciated!
Help us fill the shelves of our newly opened Reading Resource Center with books for our children. Your donation of $25 will allow us to purchase 3 NEW grade level specific books from the Accelerated Reading Program, which is used in Indian River County schools.
Currently, there are over 2,543 people in our community who cannot afford safe and adequate shelter. Of those, over 690 are children. Given the current economic conditions, we fear that number will steadily grow.
Our facility is the largest of its kind on the Treasure Coast. The The Hope For Families Center enables our clients to re-establish self-sufficiency through structured programs and linkages to community health and human services. Adult residents are required to find jobs within two weeks and save 75% of their income. Zero tolerance for alcohol and drugs is strictly enforced.
We gladly accept the items listed or monetary contributions so we may purchase them.
Your contributions are always appreciated.
